Ethos
Paul Cheesman
Paul is Global HR Coordinator for Campus Crusade for Christ in the USA. The role involves resourcing HR directors and professionals in strategic and systems development, coaching, HR training and troubleshooting for Campus Crusade’s 26,000 staff in 190 countries. He has a Post-graduate Diploma in Personnel & Development and is a Chartered Fellow of the CIPD. Previously, Paul has worked in Christian mission (Agapé – for which Campus Crusade is the parent organisation) for 18 years, initially as a youth and schools worker, and for the past 12 years in Human Resources. He was a Director and part of Agapé UK’s senior leadership team before moving to work with Agapé Europe in HR Consultancy.
Louise Coningsby
Louise operates as a freelance catalyst and facilitator of organisational change and development with a range of organisations. Her advisery work involves Christian ethos and values, Board, organisational and leadership development and human resource strategy. Louise is trustee of a number of charities. Previously Louise has held leadership and professional roles with organisations including the YMCA, the Fire Service, Tearfund, Brown and Root Civil Engineering, YWAM Philippines and Prospects for people with learning disabilities.
Brian James
Brian is Operations Director for Mission Care who employ 400 staff in the Christian Care sector and participate in delivering care through local authority contracts alongside mission based activities. Brian’s role involves leading significant cultural change. Brian is involved in a number of local and national leadership roles including that of Parent Governor, Church Elder, Chair of the Local Adoption Panel and Board member of the Christian Care Association. He moved from a highly reputable Retailer to the Christian Charity Sector in 1999 and has been challenged to change the reputation of Christian Charities from ‘poor’ to ‘good’.
Sheila Jones
Sheila Jones is Associate Director of HR for the Evangelical Alliance (EA). Sheila co-leads the HR forum as part of her role resourcing the 3000 churches and 1000 organisations within the Alliance. The forum is known as the premier HR forum for the sector and is open to all working in HR in the Broader Christian Charity Sector. In addition, Sheila is on the leadership for the Premier Christian HR forum in the USA as part of the Christian Management Association and is a Trustee of the Bible Society. Previously Sheila worked with the Scripture Gift Mission.
Judith Beecham
Judith is a database consultant and analyst with a background of over 10 years in the IT industry. Her main roles there were as an analyst, technical design authority and project leader. Clients were from the utilities sector – British Gas, BP etc. Judith has a Natural Sciences degree and postgraduate diploma in Computing Science from Cambridge University. She is now a freelance IT consultant and analyst, specialising in database design and development. Judith also leads a Christian organisation that runs summer youth camps.

Gordon Lickfold
Dr Lickfold is an Occupational Psychologist who focuses on a variety of research roles, having previously worked for 19 years in a range of organisational development roles within the commercial sector. Gordon has been involved in the development of a number of diagnostic tools, and is also a director of Teleios Insight.
Dot Palmer Fry
Dot operates as a freelance consultant within the commercial and Christian Sectors. Formerly Dot was Human Resource Director for Cadbury Schweppes, has run her own counselling business and until recently, was chair of Interdev.
Mike Perreau
Mike operates as a strategic partner and adviser to a range of commercial, public and voluntary sector organisations. He is Managing Director of PI Management and a founding Director of Transformational Business Networks.
Merisa MacInnes
Merisa is a Marketing and Communications consultant working in the Christian voluntary sector. She works with a range of organisations, adopting a hands-on "can do" approach to funding, PR and communications. Merisa is a Trustee of SOMA.
